BLACKPINK Conquers Barcelona… Finale of Their First Europe Tour Held in 6 Cities
[OSEN=이소담 기자] BLACKPINK completed their first-ever Europe tour in success, proving their status as a global girl group.
On May 28(local time), BLACKPINK held the ‘BLACKPINK 2019 WORLD TOUR with KIA [IN YOUR AREA] BARCELONA’ in PALAU SANT JORDI, Barcelona.
Since it was the finale concert of their Europe tour, the fans’ passion and expectations toward BLACKPINK have reached the climax. The fans who have been waiting for BLACKPINK’s entrance for a long time, started cheering and heading to the arena when they started to let people in.
BLACKPINK greeted the local fans in Spanish, which they have earnestly prepared. When the members said hi by stating, “Hola” and “Buenas tardes”, the audience wove their hands in response. BLACKPINK then raised the mood by stating, “We always wanted to perform in Spain, and we are happy to be able to face you like this. Let’s make unforgettable memories”.
The concert began with BLACKPINK’s mega-hit, ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’, while the audience stated cheering passionately. The group’s performances of their previous title songs including ‘BOOMBAYAH’, ‘WHISTLE’, ‘PLAYING WITH FIRE’, and ‘AS IF IT’S YOUR LAST’ in addition to other tracks including ‘DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO’ and ‘KICK IT’ filled up the arena with heat.
The members of BLACKPINK were deeply moved by the extraordinary passion by Spanish fans and enjoyed their performance until the very end, while emitting energy. When the final performance has ended, BLINKs of Spain started yelling, ‘Encore’. The fans waiting for BLACKPINK’s encore performance started to create waves with bbyong bongs and phone lights, presenting a spectacular scene.
ROSÉ shared her overwhelming thoughts by stating, “Tonight is the final schedule of our Europe tour. I don’t think there would be a more beautiful ending than this”. JISOO shared her thoughts by stating, “I’ve made so many good memories in Barcelona, the finale location of our Europe tour. I will miss you”.
When the concert was about to end, the fans presented a special event for the fans by filling up the arena with the slogan, ‘EVEN IF WE ARE APART, WE WILL STAY WITH YOU’.
As if they were frustrated to depart with their fans of Spain, BLACKPINK continued to earnestly communicate with the fans by stating, “Gracias, thank you”, “Os queremos, I love you”, and “Hasta pronto, see you again”.
After beginning their Europe tour on the 18th in Amsterdam of Holland, BLACKPINK grabbed the hearts of fans in Manchester and London of England, Berlin of Germany, Paris of France, and Barcelona of Spain, their final location. They have established their presence by holding a total of 6 concerts in 6 representative regions of Europe.
After successfully completing their first-ever Europe tour, BLACKPINK will perform in Macau on June 8 and go on their Australia tour starting on the 13th. They will also hold a dome tour consisted of 4 concerts in 3 major cities of Japan, during the year-end.
