BLACKPINK to Make Comeback Tonight(4th) at 12 AM With ‘KILL THIS LOVE’

[매일경제=이다겸기자] Group BLACKPINK is making comeback with their new song, ‘KILL THIS LOVE’.

Today(4th) at 12 AM, BLACKPINK will release their new EP album, ‘KILL THIS LOVE’. This album was confirmed to be released on the 5th at 0 AM, unprecedentedly to target the global market. In the case of foreign countries, the album will be released after its release in Korea or on the 5th at 0 AM according to local time.

The title song ‘KILL THIS LOVE’ is a song with strong lead brass and epic drum sounds as its main theme, while BLACKPINK’s charismatic rap and vocals add character to the song. TEDDY and Bekuh BOOM participated in writing the lyrics, while TEDDY, R.Tee, 24, and Bekuh BOOM participated in the composing of the track.

YG Entertainment introduced, “The choreography of the song created by 4 world-famous choreographers is composed of the most dynamic performances, more than any of the songs previously released by BLACKPINK. It also has a high degree of completion”.

BLACKPINK will start their comeback countdown themselves through VLIVE on the 4th at 11 PM, an hour prior to the release of their new EP album, ‘KILL THIS LOVE’. BLACKPINK will meet their fan club BLINK to share comeback greetings and their whereabouts, as well as their thoughts on making the VLIVE global TOP10. 

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK’s EP album contains a total of 5 tracks including the title song ‘KILL THIS LOVE’, the sub-title song ‘Don’t Know What To Do’, ‘Kick It’, ‘Hope Not’, and a remix version of ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’.
