BLACKPINK JENNIE’s Dramatic Transformation to Blond Hair, ‘Sexy+Dreamlike Upgrade’

On April 1 at 4 PM, YG Entertainment uploaded JENNIE’s individual teaser clip for ‘KILL THIS LOVE’, through their official blog.
JENNIE wore a white sleeveless top along with a gold-colored necklace, presenting a daring look. Her first-ever attempt on blond hair also grabbed the viewers’ attention. JENNIE’s blond hair which created harmony with the red colored background noticed BLACKPINK’s upcoming extreme makeover.
Moreover, the video grabbed the viewers’ attention with its unique editing method along with its dreamlike and sensible expression.
JENNIE revealed her thoughts on making comeback as BLACKPINK in 9 months since the group released ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ by stating, “I’m excited to make comeback with a fierce and charismatic character in a while”.
After making her solo debut as the first runner among all members of BLACKPINK last year on November, JENNIE dominated no. 1 spots on various music charts and even topped the iTunes Worldwide Song Chart, proving her influence as a solo artist.
Using the momentum, JENNIE will make return to the K-Pop scene with BLACKPINK’s upcoming EP album, ‘KILL THIS LOVE’. The title song ‘KILL THIS LOVE’ is a song with its main theme comprised of fierce lead brass and epic drum sounds. BLACKPINK’s charismatic rap and vocals added on top create harmony and present BLACKPINK’s unique girl-crush charms.
