BLACKPINK’s World Tour Locations Expand to North America·Europe·Australia
[텐아시아=우빈 기자] Group BLACKPINK is expanding their world tour locations to North America, Europe, and Australia.
YG Entertainment uploaded a poster notifying BLACKPINK’s additional world tour locations including North America, Europe, and Australia through their official blog, following regions of Asia.
From January 11 until January 13, BLACKPINK will hold the ‘BLACKPINK 2019 WORLD TOUR with KIA [IN YOUR AREA]’ in Bangkok Impact Arena.
The tickets for the concerts to be held on the 12th and 13th in Bangkok, LISA’s hometown, were sold out in 1 hour while the tickets for the additionally added concert on the 11th were also sold out, proving the group’s massive popularity.
On January 9, BLACKPINK held a press conference in Bangkok, their first tour location, and met local journalists from 70 different media channels. The group revealed their world tour location expansion to North America, Europe, and Australia at the spot, announcing to meet their global fans in more locations of the world.
LISA shared her thoughts by stating, “I wanted to perform in Thailand ever since I made debut. I hope many people will enjoy BLACKPINK’s performances. Thank you for welcoming us with a warm heart”.
JISOO shared her gratitude by stating, “I was surprised when I heard that the tickets for 2 concerts were sold out, and that tickets for the additional concert were all sold out as well. I feel responsibility that I should present a good performance”. She added, “I know LISA worked hard for a long time in Korea, so it was touching when we came to Thailand. We’ll present the best performances”.
JENNIE stated, “We always felt, ‘How special would it be if we perform in LISA’s country’ ever since we were trainees. Thank you for welcoming us and showing us love”.
ROSÉ continued, “It’s meaningful to start our world tour in Thailand, LISA’s hometown. It’s a good start of a world tour”. She added, “We were touched by your warm welcomes when we arrived in Thailand. We’ll use this spirit to present amazing performances”.
After completing their tour schedules in Bangkok, BLACKPINK will meet the BLINKS located in various parts of the world including Jakarta, Hong Kong, Manila, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, North America, Europe, and Australia.
