‘YG TREASURE BOX’, Take Over the Treasure 7 Position… Unpredictable Debut Competition Begins
[OSEN=지민경 기자] The real competition among trainees towards the Treasure 7 now begins.
Today(3rd) at 11 AM, YG Entertainment revealed the preview for the 4th episode of ‘YG TREASURE BOX’, noticing the battle between trainees for the 7 spots within the debut group.
YG’s representative producer YANG HYUN SUK explained their journey towards becoming members of the new generation boy group by stating, “The rest of the members will compete against the 7 people (debut group)”.
The trainees looked surprised at the unexpected competition system. KIM DO YOUNG stated, “This is too fierce”, while CHOI HYUN SUK looked determined when he stated, “This is a place with a pool of blood”.
Then, the trainees prepared for a rebellion against the Treasure 7, the 7 members of the debut group. JANG YUNSEO stated, “Our goal is to take down Treasure 7”, while KIM JUNKYU also shared his determination by stating, “Isn’t it just breaking down (Treasure 7)?”.
The large-scale public performance held after the monthly evaluations to select debt group members presented tight competition between the trainees.
Representative YANG made favorable reviews by stating, “I was surprised at the unexpected outcomes that came out from the first results” and added, “No artist would be able to beat you if you sing like that”.
Unlike existing debut survival programs, ‘YG TREASURE BOX’ will reveal YG’s actual music producing know-hows and its internal system accumulated for the past 22 years, to reveal the process of the group’s creation with full disclosure.
The 4th episode of ‘YG TREASURE BOX’, consisted of a total of 10 episodes, will pre-release through V LIVE (V App) on December 7 (Fri) at 10 PM, and broadcast through JTBC2 and YouTube on the same night at 12 AM.
