X ACADEMY Reveals Teaser Clip by LISA
[마이데일리=이승록 기자] A performance video containing girl group BLACKPINK LISA’s fancy choreography was revealed on the 5th.
Following the teaser videos by WINNER’s HOONY and iKON’s DK for ‘X ACADEMY’ which will be operated by YG Entertainment, LISA took the main role for the third teaser clip, as the only female artist featured in the teaser series.
YGX, the newly established label by YG that will operate X ACADEMY, uploaded the third teaser containing LISA’s dance through their official blog and social media account.
LISA grabbed the viewers’ attention with her vivid eyes and legitimate dance skills. LISA perfectly performed American rapper Cardi B’s ‘I Like It’ by interpreting the song into her unique style, revealing her strong charismatic charms.
LISA performed with dancing team ‘CRAZY’ who will be the teachers of the academy, displaying dynamic yet restrained choreography moves.
LISA’s participation in the teaser clip was determined by YG Entertainment’s representative producer YANG HYUN SUK himself.
Related officials from X ACADEMY stated, “Due to BLACKPINK’s busy schedule overseas, it took a month just to reserve the filming date”. They expressed their gratitude by thanking LISA who practiced and filmed all night despite her fatigue due to the crowded schedule.
They also mentioned the filming scene, where the staff admired and repeated, “LISA is LISA” in awe, due to LISA’s passionate and bright attitude throughout the filming process.
X ACADEMY is an academy set to be established by YG Entertainment near Hongdae, Seoul on October. It will be a place of culture and arts education, where YG’s culture and experience accumulated throughout the past 22 years will be transferred in the form and dance and vocals.
The best dance teams including HITECH and CRAZY who are known to perform worldwide with artists from YG such as BIGBANG, WINNER, iKON, and BLACKPINK will teach students along with well-known vocal trainers who are currently active in TV audition programs and in the entertainment industry.
Furthermore, the fact that representative producer YANG HYUN SUK will select artists for YG through X ACADEMY himself is also raising expectations on the academy program.
