BIGBANG SEUNGRI’s Heated Tour in Korea and Japan… Reveals His True-Self as a Solo Artist

[헤럴드POP=이미지 기자] BIGBANG SEUNGRI revealed his true-self as a solo artist, while performing concerts in Korea and Japan for 2 months after making his recent solo comeback.
After releasing his first solo album ‘THE GREAT SEUNGRI’ on July 20, he made comeback as a solo artist in 5 years. He produced the entire album himself to express his musical color and received positive reviews from the fans and the public.
While getting closer to the public through music broadcasts and variety programs, SEUNGRI also proved his musical caliber as an artist through solo concerts. Following his first concert in Seoul, he performed in cities including Daegu and Busan. He then went over to Japan to hold a large-scale Japan tour.
SEUNGRI held his first ever solo tour in Japan titled ‘SEUNGRI 2018 1ST SOLO TOUR ‘THE GREAT SEUNGRI’ IN JAPAN’ from August 11~12 in Makuhari Messe Exhibition Hall, from August 5~6 in Fukuoka International Convention Center, and from August 19~20 in Osaka Jo Hall, fascinating his fans in Japan.
Billboard highly praised SEUNGRI’s concert by writing, “The concert will full of charms, powerful performances, and creative directing”.
After successfully wrapping up the 6 concerts, SEUNGRI will be holding 2 more additional concerts during the end of the year in Osaka. The tour was composed of a total of 8 concerts in 3 cities, gathering 98,000 audiences. The scale was exceptionally large considering that it’s his first ever solo tour in Japan. SEUNGRI will be holding the finale concerts from December 15~16 in Intex Osaka, Hall 5, to share warm moments and memories with local fans.
SEUNGRI is revealing his strong presence in Japan through not only solo concerts, but also through various activities. On August 19, SEUNGRI connected with 50,000 fans by performing on ‘a-nation 2018’ Osaka. On September 3, approximately 100 people including PIKOTARO performed a flash mob of SEUNGRI’s ‘WHERE R U FROM’ in Seibu Shinjuku Station Plaza, becoming a hot topic in Japan.
