iKON Reveals ‘GOODBYE ROAD’ Group Poster for Their ‘Comeback on October 1’… Full of Autumn Vibes
[OSEN=김은애 기자] iKON will stimulate the break-up emotions this autumn with the title song ‘GOODBYE ROAD’ from their new mini album.
Today (19th) at 11 AM, YG Entertainment revealed the ‘GOODBYE ROAD’ group poster from iKON’s upcoming mini album ‘NEW KIDS : THE FINAL’ through their official blog (www.yg-life.com).
iKON raised expectations on the new title song by revealing sorrow eyes containing the loneliness of autumn, in the ‘GOODBYE RAOD’ group poster. The words ‘GOODBYE’ and ‘ROAD’ stands for the English title of the song, while the poster also notified ‘NEW KIDS : THE FINAL’ as the final of the ‘NEW KIDS’ trilogy to be released on October 1.
The song ‘GOODBYE ROAD’ shows break-up emotions with its title. Despite having completed shooting for the song’s MV last year, the song competed for the title of their 2nd album with iKON’s mega-hit ‘LOVE SCENARIO’, which was released this year on January. The song was written by B.I and BOBBY, while B.I, FUTURE BOUNCE (YG’s producing team), and Bekuh BOOM composed the track.
The song ‘GOODBYE ROAD’ had to wait for a year to be released since YG’s representative producer YANG HYUN SUK thought the track perfectly fits the vibes of autumn. Additional choreography scenes were recently added to the MV, for more perfection.
iKON set a milestone by topping Korean music charts for 43 days with the song ‘LOVE SCENARIO’ released on January, while topping iTunes Album Charts in 24 different countries on August with the song ‘KILLING ME’, proving the group’s global popularity. iKON has been more active than any other year in 2018. The entire K-Pop industry is paying keen attention on iKON’s third comeback this year on October 1.
