iKON Responds to ‘LOVE SCENARIO’ Syndrome… Will Hold ‘PiKONIC DAY’, A Sing-Along Event
[스포츠조선닷컴=정안지 기자] iKON will hold a summer picnic titled ‘PiKONIC DAY’, which is a sing-along event of ‘LOVE SCENARIO’ along with iKON.
PiKONIC DAY will be held on August 4 at 5:30 PM on Hangang Park, Sebitseom. The event was planned by iKON as a response to repay the ‘LOVE SCENARIO’ sing-along syndrome by children.
The admission for PiKONIC DAY will be free, and the audience will enter in the order of arrival for safety purposes. Photos and videos can be freely taken during the entire event.
With PiKONIC DAY coming up, there will also be a cover contest which the participants cover the song ‘LOVE SCENARIO’. Participants should upload a video of one selves singing ‘LOVE SCENARIO’ on their social media with hashtags ‘#iKON #LOVESCENARIO #PiKONICDAY #COVERKONTEST’, and send an e-mail(ygent_event@ygmail.net) to request for participation.
The 50 winning teams from the SNS contest will be invited in the special zone on PiKONIC DAY. Winners will receive an iKON t-shirt and an official MD package, while regular audiences will receive a custom folding fan, tattoo stickers, and Nivea sunscreen. A brochure produced in the concept of a textbook will also be handed out at the scene.
There will be various events for children and families at the scene as well. A photo zone for children and on-site events will be held while the contest participants perform a special concert.
Also, iKON will present a special performance to celebrate PiKONIC DAY. PiKONIC DAY will be a perfect summer picnic where iKON and the participants can forget about the sweltering heat of the summer.
After dominating the first half of 2018 in the K-Pop scene, iKON will make comeback with their new mini album ‘NEW KIDS:CONTINUE’ on August 2. It will be the final edition of the trilogy series following ‘NEW KIDS:BEGIN’ released last year on May and ‘RETURN’ released back in January, and contains the meaning of continuing their passion and hard work.
iKON’s upcoming album will contain new music and contents that emphasize masculine beauty and is highly anticipated by the fans.
