Today (19th), the MV for ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ became the fastest MV to surpass 200 million views in K-Pop history, and YG Entertainment revealed a congratulatory poster through their official blog (www.yg-life.com).
BLACKPINK set another milestone in K-Pop history, as usual. The MV for ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ surpassed 200 million views in 33 days since the song was released in the 15th. The record shortened the previous record by 11 days.
Despite having a smaller fandom compared to boy groups, BLACKPINK became the one and only group in K-Pop to have the fastest MV that surpassed 200 million views.
The achievements of the song ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ was not difficult to expect. The group swept all time-related records while reaching from 10 million to 100 million views, while continuing to set milestones at the point when the video surpassed 150 million views.
