BLACKPINK’s Blink♥ on the Fan Signing Event… “A New Experience After Making Comeback”

Today (11th) at 12 PM, YG Entertainment revealed a video containing the scenes from BLACKPINK’s fan signing event, through their official blog (www.yg-life.com).
On the fan signing event that took place at IFC Mall on the 8th, fans not only from Korea but also overseas gathered as a big crowd, proving BLACKPINK’s explosive popularity.
The members wore flower crowns prepared by their fan club ‘Blink’ and exchanged warm eye contacts, and even performed guitar to gift their fans a special experience.
JISOO shared her thoughts by stating, “It was a new experience after making comeback in 1 year with our mini album. It was amazing to meet and communicate with the people that have supported us”.
As it was the group’s last fan signing event during the ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ promotional period, JENNIE stated, “We wanted to do more, but numbers get bigger. Let’s meet more often from now on”.
In the end of the event, the members expressed their gratitude by stating, “We felt touched, since all of you received so many warm words”.
After making comeback with their first mini album ‘SQUARE UP’, BLACKPINK topped iTunes Album Charts in 44 different countries. ‘SQUARE UP’ and its title song ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ achieved the best record among K-Pop girl groups in Billboard’s main charts by debuting on the ‘Billboard 200’ as no. 40 and ‘Hot 100’ as no. 55. The group also became the first K-Pop girl group to be listed on UK’s ‘Official Singles Top 100’.
While setting milestones in and out of Korea, BLACKPINK will extend their promotional activity period with the sub-title song ‘FOREVER YOUNG’, following their success with ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’.
