BLACKPINK, No. 1 on ‘Inkigayo’… 6th Crown From Music Broadcasts
[조이뉴스24=이미영 기자] Girl group BLACKPINK was ranked at no. 1 on ‘Inkigayo’.
On SBS ‘Inkigayo’ aired on the 1st, BLACKPINK’s ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ was placed at no. 1. BTOB’s ‘Only One For Me’ was also nominated as the no. 1 contender.

BLACKPINK won their 6th crown in music broadcasts while also achieving no. 1 for 2 consecutive weeks on ‘Inkigayo’.
The title song ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ from BLACKPINK’s first mini album ‘SQUARE UP’ is currently maintaining its no. 1 spot on music charts for over 2 weeks, while sweeping all trophies in music broadcasts. The group is also renewing K-Pop girl group history. BLACKPINK surprised the world by debuting in the Billboard Hot 100 as no. 55 and Billboard 200 as no. 40, while the MV for ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ became the fastest MV by a K-Pop girl group to surpass 100 million views, in 10 days.
Meanwhile, artists and groups including SHINEE, N’UEST W, BLACKPINK, Lovelyz, BTOD, N.Flying, MOMOLAND, A.C.E, DAY6, Elris, KHAN, ONF, Fromis 9, and LOONA yyxy appeared on ‘Inkigayo’.
