[DIRECT Y-TERVIEW] WINNER “Our New Challenge on Music, Grateful + Happy to be No. 1”
[YTN Star=강내리 기자] Group ‘WINNER’ shared their thoughts on topping music charts.
On April 4 at 6 PM, WINNER released their 2nd official album, ‘EVERYD4Y’. As of April 5, the title song ‘EVERYDAY’ from the album topped 8 music charts in platforms including Melon, Mnet, Olleh, Naver Music, Bugs, Genie, Soribada, and Monkey 3.
The new album is a full-length album released by WINNER in 4 years. WINNER filled up the album with a total of 12 tracks in various genres that will display WINNER’s unique color, and gave people listening pleasure by challenging on the Trap genre for the first time, through the title track.
On the explosive reactions by fans on their new challenge, WINNER expressed their excitements. Members of WINNER shared their feelings and gratefulness towards the fans through YTN Star on April 5.

MINO: I feel so excited and full of emotions. I feel happy that we now have a chance of letting more people listen to our music.
YOON: It feels great! It feels awesome no matter what anyone says! We feel grateful that our new challenge and our music created for the fans has been ranked as no. 1! I’m Happy.
HOONY: The no. 1 title always feels new and thrilling, it never gets old. We feel happy to make Inner Circle proud with our no. 1. Let’s make more happy memories together!
JINU: I would like to thank our fans and everyone who paid attention to our song. I didn’t know we would hit no. 1, but thank you for making this possible. When the album was released, it felt strange and stuffy in the heart. But when we hit no. 1, that strange feeling just disappeared. I didn’t want to be concerned about the results, but I guess I couldn’t let it go. I would like to thank Inner Circle and everyone that supports WINNER, once again. Thank you so much. I love you. We will meet soon through various activities soon.
