“Today is iKON DAY” iKON Will Appear on ‘Music Core’ As Special MC + ‘Knowing Bros’ … No. 1 For 10 Days
[OSEN=김은애 기자] Group iKON’s ‘LOVE SCENARIO’ set a milestone by maintaining its no. 1 spot in music charts for 10 days, while the song’s music video surpassed 10 million views.
As of February 3, 9 AM, the title song ‘LOVE SCENARIO’ from iKON’s 2nd official album ‘RETURN’ is continuing its prolonged rule of 5 real-time charts in music platforms including Melon, Mnet, Genie, Olleh, and Soribada. They have been maintaining their top spot for 10 consecutive days since the album was released on January 25.
‘LOVE SCENARIO’, the song that surpassed the record of ‘MY TYPE’ which used to be iKON’s biggest hit, is receiving a lot of love by music fans with its sentimental emotions and warm melodies.
Also, as of February 2, the music video that was released with iKON’s comeback surpassed 10 million views in 9 days since its release, proving the song’s popularity. The music video used a new filming technique called MCC (Motion Control Camera), which allows naturally continuous camera angles for every scene.
Since iKON promised active promotion for the Korean fans, they will meet the fans through music broadcasts and variety programs.
February 3 is like ‘iKON Day’ for the fans. B.I and BOBBY were selected as special MCs for MBC’s music broadcast ‘Show! Music Core’ which airs live on 3:25 PM. They will run the music broadcast for the first time since debut as special MCs. The two members’ teamwork and iKON’s new performance on ‘LOVE SCENARIO’ is gathering attention from the fans.
Continuing at 9 PM, B.I, BOBBY, SONG, and JU-NE will make appearance in JTBC’s variety program ‘Knowing Bros’ with BIGBANG’s SEUNGRI. At the recently held shooting scene, members of iKON revealed their variety senses and heated up the set. It is said that iKON and SEUNGRI also challenge on cheerleading, presenting lively energy and laugher for the viewers.
iKON will give birth to ‘iKON DAY’ by not only dominating music charts, but also making appearances on ‘Music Core’ and ‘Knowing Bros’. The individual member recognitions are also on the rise, thanks to iKON’s active promotion.
