“The RETURN of the Chart Princes”, iKON’s ‘LOVE SCENARIO’ at No. 1 For 6 Days
[엑스포츠뉴스=전아람 기자] Group iKON is maintaining their no. 1 spot for 6 days in music charts despite newly released songs.
As of January 30, at 9 AM, iKON’s title song ‘LOVE SCENARIO’ was ranked at no. 1 in various music streaming platforms including Korea’s biggest platform Melon and Monkey 3. They proved their status as ‘Music Chart Princes’ despite new songs are being released by other popular artists.
iKON’s 2nd official album ‘RETURN’ released in 2 years and a month is a well-made album with iKON’s musicality put into 12 tracks.
Leader B.I participated in the writing and composing of all tracks, while the songs leave traces of the group’s efforts on the musical direction in which the public can enjoy the album.
The new album ‘RETURN’ dominated no. 1 spots in foreign iTunes Album Charts, Japan’s iTunes Comprehensive Album Chart, and China QQ Music’s real-time chart, noticing iKON’s fabulous comeback.
iKON is responding to the fan’s enthusiastic response with active promotion including performing in music broadcasts, holding a fan signing event, and revealing the making of the music video. Since it’s the group’s comeback in the K-POP scene in a while, they are also planning to display their variety senses through appearances in variety programs including ‘Knowing Bros’, ‘Weekly Idol’, and ‘Sugar Man 2’.
