[OSEN=김은애 기자] WINNER’s YOON will appear in ‘MIXNINE’ as a special judge.
According to related officials from various sources, YOON participated in filming JTBC’s MIXNINE on December 11. He was one of the judges among YG Entertainment’s YANG HYUN SUK, CL, and ZION. T.
The second contest took place at the filming scene that day. The talented contestants that survived the ranking announcement aired on December 10 faced each other once again, for another battle. YOON observed the performances very closely, complementing and giving advice to the contestants.
YOON is a judge that can understand the minds of survival program contestants more than anyone else. He participated in Mnet’s ‘Superstar-K Season2’ back in 2010, and advanced to the final ‘top 4’.
After signing with YG Entertainment, he participated in YG’s survival program, ‘WIN: WHO IS NEXT’, to become part of WINNER. As he went through many survival program, it is expected that he left genuine remarks to the contestants as a judge.
YOON had a busy year as WINNER released an album this year, and made appearances in tvN’s ‘New Journey to the West Spinoff – Youth Over Flowers WINNER’ and ‘Prison Playbook’. As he adds his performance as a special judge in ‘MIXNINE’, people will be paying keen attention.
‘MIXNINE’ is a program launched by Producer Han Dong-Chul, who previously directed ‘Produce 101’ and ‘Show Me The Money’, as he transferred to YG. YANG HYUN SUK himself picked potential rising stars from 70 different entertainment agencies in Korea. Only 99 out of 170 contestants remain, getting ready to challenge their next mission.
