About MIXNINE, YANG HYUN SUK Says, “Nine entertainment agencies will put their head together to make it work after the winning team’s debut”
[조이뉴스24=권혜림 기자] YANG HYUN SUK talks about the future of the winning team of MIXNINE after the show.
The press conference of MIXNINE (produced by HANG DONG CHUL) took place at the Imperial Palace in Seoul at 2 PM on October 27. Producers HANG DONG CHUL and YOO SUNG MO and YG head YANG HYUN SUK, SEUNGRI, and Zion.T—the judges of the show—came to the conference.
MIXNINE is a reality audition program on which YANG HYUN SUK visits entertainment agencies across the country in search for new stars. Contestants compete fiercely with each other regardless of gender, and in the final round, two groups each consisting of nine boys and nine girls will fight for the chance to debut.
YANG HYUN SUK was asked about the future of the winning team of MIXNINE after the show. He has visited entertainment agencies across the country to find the contestants of the show. He told the press that nothing has been decided yet as to how the winning team, which will be consisted of trainees from different entertainment agencies, will work as a team after the show,
He said, “Nothing has been decided yet. We don’t know who will be in the winning team. I have to ask their agencies when the time comes. If they all agree, then they will put their heads together to make this work.”
He went on to say, “If the winning team has fans, the fans and I will both be sad to see the team disband. So I’m trying to think positively for now.”
YANG HYUN SUK also revealed how he hopes to provide support for the winning team of MIXNINE using YG’s global influence. He said, “YG have so many singers that are popular outside of Korea. They have more fans abroad. I hope I can shape them so that they become a team that can do world tours. I really want to help them and make this work.”
MIXNINE premieres on October 29, and it is to air at 4:50 PM every Sunday.
