[Exclusive] TEDDY Wrote the Main Song of MIXNINE, his First Song for a Non-YG Idol Group

Sources confirmed on October 20 that the main song of MIXNINE, the HAN DONG CHUL crew’s new reality competition show, is made by TEDDY, the biggest hitmaker.
The showcase of JTBC’s MIXNINE will be held at the Korea International Exhibition Center in the afternoon of October 28 and reveal the contestants for the first time. Trainees that were chosen at the auditions by YANG HYUN SUK when he was touring across the nation to visit entertainment agencies will perform in public for the very first time. The main song of MIXNINE will also be revealed at the showcase.
The main song of MIXNINE is made by TEDDY, who also wrote the songs for global idol groups such as BIGBANG and 2NE1. Recently, Gashina, a song he made for Sunmi, became a huge hit and proved his producing capability. However, this will be the first time TEDDY has given a song to a non-YG idol group.
Just like the ”Pick Me” songs of the season one and two of Produce 101, the song written by TEDDY for MIXNINE will represent the show. Fans are looking forward to see the synergy between TEDDY and MIXNINE.
Meanwhile, MIXNINE is a reality competition program produced by HAN DONG CHUL to look for new stars. It is the first show made by HANG DONG CHUL since he moved to YG Entertainment. The first episode of MIXNINE will air at 4:50 PM on October 29 on JTBC.
