YG’s mascot character KRUNK successfully finished its first overseas fan meeting event

[OSEN=정지원 기자] YG Entertainment’s mascot character KRUNK has finished its first overseas fan meeting in a great success.

KRUNK who has recently debuted as an artist by releasing a single album met fans in Indonesia by hosting a fan meeting event on October 16 in Jakarta, Indonesia. KRUNK hosted a fan meeting event in Korea in September this year, but the event in Jakarta was its first fan meeting held overseas.

At the fan meeting, KRUNK fascinated the audience by presenting DJ-ing of his single “I Can’t Bear”. KRUNK made a meaningful time for fans by also carrying out an autographing event and photo-time event.

Only 150 seats were available for the event, so more than 100 fans who arrived later could not enter the venue. It proved KRUNK’s great influence overseas.

KRUNK is one of the most famous YG celebrities, who gained recognition for its appearance in the music video of LEE HI’s “It’s Over” in 2013. Last month, KRUNK released a single and its music video, to make an official debut as an artist. KRUNK is now taking a new step forward as a solo artist, going beyond just a “celebrity”.

The fever of KRUNK’s overseas fan meeting event will continue in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam in early November.
