[스타뉴스=김미화 기자] WINNER (KANG SEUNGYOON, LEE SEUNGHOON, SONG MINHO, and KIM JINWOO) who had departed from Korea in school uniforms came back to Korea in suits. What has happened to WINNER?
WINNER arrived at Korea at Incheon International Airport in the morning on October 18. WINNER members who had departed from Korea to shoot “New Journey to the West Spinoff – Youth over Flowers” on October 11 has come back to Korea in a week.
On October 18, WINNER members entered the arrivals hall of the airport, wearing unique suits and sunglasses.
What caught the eyes of people was that WINNER members who were wearing prison uniforms when departing from Korea came back in suits. All of the WINNER members were wearing suits that looked rather uncomfortable for travelling, as well as sunglasses, hats, and shopping bags put on the back.
The most eye-catching scene was the big smile on the faces of WINNER members when they encountered producer Nah Young-seok who was waiting for them at the arrivals hall. WINNER members looked very happy even though they were tricked into the shooting of the show.
An insider said to Star News, “The reason why WINNER members had departed from Korea in prison uniforms and then came back in suits will be unveiled in the broadcasting, so please look forward to it”.
WINNER members came to shoot “WINNER’s Youth over Flowers” show, a spin-off of “New Journey to the West” show, thanks to SONG MINHO’s success in a game of “New Journey to the West 4” show finished in August this year.
As the production of “WINNER’s Youth over Flowers” show had already been confirmed, the producing staff of the show tried to trick WINNER members into leaving the country in secret and the members who did their best not to be tricked. WINNER members fully prepared themselves against the trick, to the extent of carrying travel backpack for recent few months. They doubted every small thing happening to them including the behaviors of their manager, but eventually, they were tricked by producer Nah, to go on a trip unexpectedly.
“New Journey to the West” spin off episodes will be aired at the end of this year.
