[DA:Chart] iKON’s DVD took No.1 on Japanese Oricon chart… “Appearing in TV shows X preparing for comeback”
[동아닷컴=전효진 기자] Group iKON has taken No.1 on Japanese Oricon’s DVD music ranking.
According to Japanese Oricon’s daily chart released on September 27, “LIVE DVD & Bluray ‘iKON JAPAN DOME TOUR 2017” that displays iKON’s first Japan dome tour topped Oricon’s daily music ranking upon its release on September 26. That is iKON’s second No.1 on the chart, following “iKON JAPAN TOUR 2016” that also topped the chart.
The DVD vividly displays the first concert of iKON’s dome tour held at Osaka Kyocera Dome, as well as iKON behind the scenes of the tour from the rehearsal to the last concert of the tour hosted at MetLife Dome. It also includes other contents such as documentary video and photo book.
iKON has been hosting additional concert of “iKON JAPAN DOME TOUR 2017” that began on September 9 at Kobe World Memorial Hall. The additional tour is expected to entertain total 233,000 people in 22 shows to be held in eight cities. That will be the longest period and largest number of audience for iKON’s tour.
Then, iKON will continue with the tour at Marine Messe Fukuoka on October 1; at Kanagawa Yokohama Arena on October 4; Hiroshima Green Arena on October 7-8; at Shizuoka Ecopa Arena on October 14; at Aichi Japan Gaishi Hall on October 17; at Chiba Makuhair Messe Event Hall on October 28 and November 9; and at Hyogo Kobe World Memorial Hall on November 11 and 12.
Along with their Japan dome tour, iKON has been shooting for a new entertainment TV show with a concept of school trip, which will be aired from early November. The team is also working hard on their new album to be released soon.
