With the help of WINNER & TABLO, SECHSKIES to Release a Regular Album for the First Time in 18 Years
[엑스포츠뉴스=전원 기자] SECHSKIES is to release a regular album for the first time in 18 years, and the album will consist of nine new tracks.
On September 18, YG Entertainment uploaded the track list of SECHSKIES’s fifth album “ANOTHER LIGHT” on its official blog. Unlike the EPs that the group released so far, all the nine tracks of this album will be new songs.
The track list featured an image of all the members of SECHSKIES with the title songs “SOMETHING SPECIAL” and “SMILE” in bold print. EUN JIWON wrote the lyrics of “BACK HUG”.
YG family did what they could do to help. WINNER’s MINO and HOONY co-wrote the lyrics of “BACK HUG” along with EUN JIWON, and TABLO wrote the lyrics and music of the album’s sixth track “DRINKING PROBLEM”. Expectations are running high for SECHSKIES’s new album as YG artists have shown their fierce support in making the album.
The titles and credits of all the nine tracks, including “FEELING”, “NEED U”, “VERTIGO”, “NEVER AGAIN”, and “IT’S BEEN A WHILE”, have been revealed.
The album encompasses a variety of genres, from ballad to disco, pop, and hip-hop. It will be a chance to see the diverse charms of the five SECHSKIES members.
SECHSKIES commented, “We want to communicate with our fans with diverse music. We refuse to be complacent and will always work hard. We hope that you keep on sending us your support.”
The group went on to say, “We want to show people our personality and our addictive charms through this album.”
SECHSKIES’s fifth album will be released on September 21.
