GD Becomes the First Foreign Act to do a Dome Tour in Japan for Five Consecutive Years
[헤럴드POP=장우영 기자] G-DRAGON kicked off his Japan dome tour, which is a part of his solo world tour.
On August 19, the “G-DRAGON 2017 WORLD TOUR IN JAPAN” concert was held at the Fukuoka Yahuoku! Dome. It was the first concert of his Japan dome tour, and it was breathtaking. 50,000 fans came to see G-DRAGON, and the venue was filled with yellow lights.
He sang his hit songs such as “HEARTBREAKER”, “ONE OF A KIND”, “CRAYON”, and “CROOKED”, “UNTITLED”. He performed live for two hours straight, proving his capability as a singer.
It was his birthday the day before the concert, and there was a big cake prepared to celebrate him. Fans congratulated him on his birthday from the bottom of their hearts and added a special meaning to the concert.
He said, “It’s been eleven years since BIGBANG’s debut. I wouldn’t have been here if it weren’t for you. Thank you.”
G-DRAGON is currently on his solo world tour titled “ACT III, M.O.T.T.E”. He will be holding concerts in a total of 29 cities around the world: nine Asian cities, eight North American cities, four Oceanian cities, five Europe cities, and three Japanese cities.
Meanwhile, G-DRAGON announced that he will be doing “BIGBANG JAPAN DOME TOUR 2017 -LAST DANCE”, which will make him the first foreign act to go on a dome tour in Japan.
