[OSEN=정지원 기자] SONG MINHO’s full-blown talent as an entertainer shined in “New Journey to the West” show.
In the episode of tvN’s “New Journey to the West” show aired on August 8, the cast members of the show engaged in the wake-up mission, a hit or miss game, and film title quizzes.
In the episode, SONG MINHO made everyone burst into laughter by revealing his talent continuously in the wake-up mission, hit or miss game, and film title quizzes. He tried his best to succeed in a “protecting bananas” mission, but the bananas were half split, so he was rebuked by the producing staff of the show, to create a hilarious scene.
SONG’s nickname of “idiot” continued in the hit or miss game. He failed to say the right answer to every four character idiom quiz, to make everyone burst into big laughter. Notably, when the staff said “obi”, whose right answer was supposed to be “obi-irak” which is a four character idiom that means “A pear drops as soon as a crow flies from the tree”, SONG said “Larger” (There is a famous beer brand called “OB Larger” in Korea), to live up to his nickname of “idiot”.
In a quiz in which the cast members had to say famous lines in famous movies, SONG made everyone burst into laughter. He imitated Lee Byung-hun in movie “Inside Men”, spinning a virtual prosthetic hand out and said “Watashiwa Akumada” (I’m a devil), which is a famous line of movie “The Wailing”.
As such, SONG MINHO made everyone burst into big laughter, showing an unprecedentedly fun characters as an entertainer to live up to the great anticipation of the staff of “New Journey to the West”. SONG MINHO’s full-blown talent as an entertainer is making him the best entertainer in Korea, in collaboration with producer Nah Young-suk.
