WINNER Says, “We’re happy to have made comeback in the summer and thankful our song is doing well on the charts.”
[엑스포츠뉴스=이아영 기자] Upon comeback, WINNER swept the charts in and out of Korea including Korea’s biggest music streaming website Melon. The group talks about how they feel.
As of 10 AM on August 5, WINNER’s new song “LOVE ME LOVE ME” is at No.1 on Melon, Naver, Genie, Bugs, and Soribada for two days in a row.
On the day of release, which was on August 4, WINNER’s new EP ranked No.1 on the iTunes charts of 22 countries, a record number for the group.
WINNER said, “We’re happy to have made a comeback in the summer. Fortunately, our song is doing well on the charts, and we’re thankful and happy. We’ll do our best to make good music and work harder. This was all possible because of YANG HYUN SUK. Thank you!”
WINNER will kick off their promotions for their new song by appearing on MBC’s Show! Music Core on August 5. WINNER has shown perfectly synchronized but restrained choreography for “REALLY REALLY”, and fans are curious about how WINNER will perform their new songs.
“LOVE ME LOVE ME” and “ISLAND” are disco and dance hall rhythm songs and are perfect for the summer season. Therefore, the choreography for both songs is expected to be exciting too.
At 8 PM on August 5, WINNER will do a V Live show to meet their fans, and on August 6, the group will perform “LOVE ME LOVE ME” and “ISLAND” on SBS’s Inkigayo.
