“Comeback D-2” WINNER unveiled MV of “LOVE ME LOVE ME”… “Catchy summer song”
[OSEN=선미경 기자] Group WINNER who is coming back on the day after tomorrow unveiled part of the music and video of their new song “LOVE ME LOVE ME”.
WINNER who is to release a new album on August 4 has raised fans’ anticipation for their new album by posting a teaser film of new song “LOVE ME LOVE” in the morning on August 2 on the official blog of YG Entertainment.
The music video of “LOVE ME LOVE ME” presents a cool atmosphere against the backdrop of the blue sky and ocean of Hawaii. The teaser film shows carefree and cool feel of the members of WINNER. It is expressing the feelings of the youth, passion, and energy of young men in their twenties in the music and images.
“LOVE ME LOVE ME” is a song written based on a modern re-interpretation of old-school disco genre. Its refreshing and exciting beat cools down the scorching heat of the summer season like a cool breeze.
The teaser film unveils part of the song’s melody. The lyrics “WANT YOU TO LOVE ME/LOVE ME LOVE ME MORE” leaves a long-lasting impression. An YG insider said, “The main melody of ‘LOVE ME LOVE ME’ has yet to be unveiled. As the melody is very catchy, we decided that it would not proper to unveil the main melody before the official release of the song”.
After “LOVE ME LOVE ME” of disco genre, WINNER will unveil “ISLAND” that is a song of dance hall and tropical genre. On August 5 at 8PM, WINNER will have time for communication with fans in NAVER V-LIVE broadcasting, to talk about episodes about their new album and unveil the making film of the music video that was shot all in Hawaii.
WINNER is coming back with new songs four months after the release of “REALLY REALLY” released in April this year. WINNER will continue to stay close with fans throughout the year.
