WINNER Goes on Thinking About Oppa and Captures the Heart of Viewers
[스포츠조선닷컴=정유나 기자] WINNER went on Thinking About Oppa as the show’s first ever guest and succeeded in making the viewers big fans of the group.
On May 20, the first episode of Thinking About Oppa was aired on MBC. The first guest of the show was WINNER, and viewers were able to watch the process of making a promotion video that shows off the unique charm of each of WINNER members.
Thinking About Oppa is a show that makes promotion videos for star clients. The A team consists of Yoo Se Yun, Solbi, Lee Mal Nyun, and Lee Sang Jun with Tak Jae Hun as the leader. The B team is led by Lee Sang Min, and its team members are Lee Ku Han, Huh Kyung Whan, and Gangnam. The fun point is the tension between Tak Jae Hun and Lee Sang Min, both of whom used to be big stars back in the 90’s.
Their first client was WINNER, a group that debuted four years ago. Recently, WINNER has released a new song titled “REALLY REALLY”, and the song has become a big hit. WINNER said, “Still there a lot of people who don’t know us. We came on the show so that more people will know us.” The A team took charge of YOON and HOONY’s promotion video, and the B team made MINO and JINU’s video.
Then it was time to find out the charms of WINNER members.
The pretty boy JINU showed a naïve side of himself and became the new funny stupid member of WINNER. However, he also had a different side. He was able to trap a football very well and do many pushups, showing off his manly charms.
MINO, who is usually considered as the most funny stupid member of the group, revealed his secret hobby. His hobby is making clothes at home with a sewing machine, which is hard to imagine from his charismatic rapping performance on stage. He brought his sewing machine and the clothes he made to the set. He also surprised everyone by offering to make Lee Sang Min something and starting to use the sewing machine without any hesitation.
YOON showed off his billiards skills. He made a bet with Tak Jae Hoon, who is considered to be the best billiard player in the entertainment industry. Whoever loses had to buy a bike for the other person. Yoon won in the end. He also sang a John Legend song and showed off his great voice.
HOONY was the one who made the choreography for WINNER’s other title track “FOOL”. He did an impromptu dance battle with Yoo Se Yun. Yoo Se Yun danced first while making his signature baboon face, and HOONY mimicked him.
Afterwards, the A team and the B team each made a promotion video that captures the diverse charms of WINNER members. In the final videos, YOON and HOONY were portrayed as true singers, and JINU and MINO as perfectionists although they may seem a little slow when you first see them.
