[OSEN=정지원 기자] Group WINNER has achieved a big success for their comeback, by taking No.1 in a TV music show within 10 days of comeback.
On April 4 at 4PM, WINNER made comeback by releasing “REALLY REALLY” and “FOOL”, their first new songs since the team’s reorganization into four members.
WINNER’s new songs took No.1 on music charts upon their release. Such success was achieved despite daily rush of other popular singers’ new songs onto charts. WINNER’s new songs are still staying in top ranks on charts.
The music video of “REALLY REALLY” recorded nine million views within 10 days of release. Such large number of views proves WINNER’s still-enormous global popularity despite their long-time absence from the music scene.
Backed by such outstanding popularity overseas, WINNER swept foreign music charts as well. WINNER’s single album took No.1 on iTunes albums chart of 21 countries and was selected as “Best of the Week” of Apple Music.
On April 13, the 10th day since their comeback, WINNER took No.1 in Mnet’s “M-Countdown”. Even though WINNER did not perform in the show, they succeeded in proving their still-substantial influence in the music scene once again by winning the trophy of “M-Countdown” in 10 days of their comeback.
