AKMU presents first live performance of “PLAY UGLY” in “INKIGAYO” on Feb. 19
[헤럴드POP=김은정 기자] AKMU kicks off performances of “PLAY UGLY”, a song included in their new album “WINTER”.
On February 16 in the morning, YG Entertainment unveiled a poster on the company’s official blog (www.yg-life.com), to announce the beginning of AKMU’s performances for a new song. YG also announced that a lyric video of AKMU’s “PLAY UGLY” will be released for the first time on February 18 at 0 o’clock.
AKMU will present the first live performance of “PLAY UGLY” in SBS “INKIGAYO” on February 19.
“PLAY UGLY” is an indie-pop song with a cheerful melody line and funky sound. LEE CHAN HYUK’s rhythmical rapping like talking and LEE SU HYUN’s flagship refreshing voice create a perfect harmony, fully displaying AKMU’s unique appeals.
AKMU has drawn great popularity by presenting contrasting feels in “LAST GOODBYE” and “REALITY”, the double title tracks of new album “WINTER”. Now, pop music fans are paying keen attention to what kind of performance AKMU will present for “PLAY UGLY”. In the meantime, AKMU will host six concerts for six days from March 24 (Fri.) in their concert “2017 AKMU CONCERT [DIARY]” while presenting performances of “PLAY UGLY” The ticket sale will open on “Melon Ticket” today at 8 o’clock.
