[OSEN=엄동진 기자] It turns out that the secret rapper of GD and CL’s collaboration stage at Gayo Daejeon is BewhY.
BewhY will be performing at the 2016 SAF Gayo Daejeon, which will be aired live at 8:55 PM on December 26. He will be performing with G-DRAGON and CL.
Sources confirmed, “As been announced earlier on, G-DRAGON and CL will put on a collaboration stage. Two more rappers will be joining them, and one of them is BewhY. G-DRAGON and CL were the ones who came up with this idea. This means that they have been eyeing BewhY, who has risen to fame this year.”
BewhY has been a sensation this year. He is the winner of Mnet’s Show Me The Money 5, and his songs, “Day Day” and “Forever”, have become huge hits. He has also appeared in various commercials and ranked first place as the most influential rapper. It’s no wonder that G-DRAGON and CL took interest in working together with BewhY.
YG Entertainment, G-DRAGON, and CL are planning to put on a phenomenal hiphop stage at this year’s Gayo Daejeon. Since G-DRAGON and CL are not just idols, but top hip hop musicians in Korea, their collaboration performance is bound to become a big issue. They’ve worked together once when CL featured in G-DRAGON’s song “THE LEADERS” back in 2009. The two of them put on a stage singing that song at the 2009 Gayo Daejeon. Six years have passed since then, and now fans will be able to see them together on the stage again.
