iKON’s “Asia Tour going on”, in Korea, Japan, and China
[헤럴드POP=이호연 기자] Group iKON will sweep Chengdu and Nanjing, China, after Japan.
On the 12 this month in the afternoon, YG Entertainment released two concert posters for the Chengdu and Nanjing concerts of “iKONCERT 2016 SHOWTIME TOUR” on the company’s social media platform. The concert in Chengdu will be held on May 14 and in Nanjing on May 21.
On the 17 last month, iKON held Japan arena tour and then first Asian tour, expanding the scale of their concert. iKON will hold another concert of the tour in Taiwan on April 22 and in Hong Kong on May 7.
iKON is boasting an exceptional influence in the record of ticket sales. Upon their debut in October last year, iKON held their first concert at Olympic Park Gymnastics Hall in Seoul. Then, they held another concert at the venue. iKON went on to set an exceptional record for a rookie, carrying out national tour including concerts in Daegu and Busan.
iKON proved their big popularity in Japan by successfully rounding off their first arena tour that drew 146,000 fans to 14 concerts in five cities.
iKON is now committed to preparation for their new opportunity to meet fans worldwide, expanding the scope of the tour.
