SUA Pulls Off an Unexpected Win against Yubin on Unpretty Rapstar 2
[엑스포츠뉴스=나금주 기자] SUA won the semi-finals of Unpretty Rapstar 2 against Yubin and made it to the finals.
On the 10th episode of Unpretty Rapstar 2, which was aired on November 13, the semi-finals took place.
SUA was up against Yubin in the semifinals and many predicted that Yubin would win.
SUA prepared a performance featuring AKMU’s LEE SOO HYUN. SUA said, “SOO HYUN has a wonderful voice. She is also my friend and that’s why I wanted to do this with her.” Because SUA’s opponent was none other than Yubin, LEE SOO HYUN seemed to be feeling a lot of pressure and kept sighing. However, she reassured SUA, who kept apologizing to her, that she was ok.
SUA performed a song titled “WHO AM I”. The song was about how hard it has been for SUA recently, and LEE SOO HYUN’s clear voice added more depth to the performance.
Sunmi and Hyelim of Wonder Girls were there for Yubin when she was preparing to go on stage. Yenny came during the rehearsals to boost Yubin’s confidence and said, “You’re already good. Just be yourself. You have a great stage presence and you also write good lyrics.”
Yubin went up on the stage after SUA. Yubin forgot her lyrics during her performance (she was afraid that this might happen) and had to start the song again. However, she continued with her song calmly and gave a fine performance with Urban Zakapa’s Jo Hyun-a.
The results of the votes came in and SUA won against Yubin and went on to the finals.
