[OSEN=박현민 기자] It’s SONG MIN HO again. The fearless member of WINNER is roaring up the charts with his “FEAR” track, knocking over the singles from Infinite Challenge’s music festival and taking the No.2 spot. All that is left is Park Myeong-su & IU’s “Leon.”
SONG MIN HO’s “FEAR”, which features TAEYANG, ranked 2nd on the charts of Melon and Monkey3 as of 11 AM on September 6. Even before 11 AM, “FEAR” ranked at 2nd place on the charts of major music-streaming sites such as Genie and Naver Music.
“FEAR” has a special meaning to SONG MIN HO as it is the very song that made him win against Black Nut in the semi-finals of “Show Me The Money 4” and join the final two. Although SONG MIN HO lost to Basick in the final round, critics have been saying that the victory goes to SONG MIN HO as “FEAR” has been rocking all the charts ever since.
There is a simple explanation behind the huge popularity of “FEAR”. It is because the song has a catchy melody, meaningful and heart-touching lyrics that are written by SONG MIN HO himself, and features TAEYANG.
“FEAR” is about the hardships SONG MIN HO had to go through during the six years before his debut. In the beginning, SONG MIN HO was in the underground music scene. He tried to debut as a member of Block B but it didn’t work out. Before he joined WINNER, he was in a vocal group called B.O.M.
