JINUSEAN Passes YG Monthly Test: “Have Been Gearing Up for Comeback in 11 Years”
[OSEN=정준화 기자] JINUSEAN, YG’s hip-hop duo, announced that they “passed YG’s monthly test and will be back for the first time in 11 years.”
The announcement was made in Seoul’s Banyan Tree Club and Spa on April 15 for the press conference of their newest album “TELL ME ONE MORE TIME.”
SEAN commented, “It feels very strange coming here after so long. We have been preparing for this moment for 11 years. Please stay tuned.”
JINU added, “In YG we do a monthly test. And we passed it for the first time in 11 years, so here we are.”
JINUSEAN’s latest “TELL ME ONE MORE TIME” is their latest track in 11 years. With the funky and unique synthetic sounds the drum beat makes the song exciting. It is a song where one awaits for the long-gone lover. The witty lyrics and rhyme carries the 90’s sentiment with a familiar melody. It certainly is highly addictive.
TABLO, who was involved in writing and composing the song, calls it the “new disco” genre. It is a dance song that can be enjoyed by anyone.
Jang Hanna, who joined YG after becoming hugely popular on “K-Pop 3” with her powerful and soulful voice, features in the track. Her mesmerizing voice adds a source of entertainment to the track.
JINUSEAN unveiled their track at midnight on the day, and have been topping many charts.
