JINUSEAN to Come Back Soon… “Who Will be the Second Uhm Jung-hwa?”
[OSEN=정준화 기자] Who will be the “second Uhm Jung-hwa”? JINUSEAN is unveiling a new song to reproduce the explosive popularity of “Tell Me” 11 years after the release of its original version. The title of the new song will be the same “Tell Me”. The teaser image that announces the release of the new song shows an unidentified woman, which arouses all the higher attention from fans.
“Tell Me” is a legendary song released in 1997 sweeping the music scene, and it became the cornerstone of the hip-hop craze in Korea in the late 1990’s. Singer Uhm Jung-hwa featured for the song at that time, then she evolved into a top star, riding on the explosive popularity of the song. That is why fans are paying keen attention to who the woman on the teaser image is. As people are expecting that the new song of JINUSEAN will enjoy a big popularity once again, the success of the female artist to feature for the new song is also anticipated.
YG Entertainment unveiled the second teaser image that announces the title of JINUSEAN’s new song to be released on the 15 and their comeback, on the 9 at noon on the company’s official blog YG LIFE.
The image is showing JINUSEAN seating on a sofa and the back of a woman who is looking out of the window through open curtains. Some speculated that Uhm Jung-hwa is featuring for “Tell Me” once again, but the silhouette in the image looks like another person.
Music industry insiders are expecting that JINUSEAN’s comeback after 11 years of absence will have a big impact on the music scene. The new song is a club version of “Tell Me”, which could be enjoyed by anyone and EPIK HIGH’s member TABLO who is one of the hottest artists recently, is also working on the production of the song.
Plus, Yoo Jae-suk, Haha, SES’s Shoo who led MBC TV’s “The Infinite Challenge – Saturday Singers” to a great success, as well as Seo Jang-hoon who is one of the hottest entertainers in recent days, acted in the music video of JINUSEAN’s new song.
