[Exclusive] 2NE1 Performs in SBS “GayoDaejeon”
[스타뉴스 김소연 기자] Group 2NE1 performs in SBS “GayoDaejeon”.
According to broadcasting insiders on the 19, 2NE1 will not only attend “GayoDaejeon” on the 21 but also sing for the show. Only three of them CL, DARA, and MINZY except BOM who has been self-reflecting recently, will stand on the stage. It has been already known that 2NE1 will appear in “GayoDaejeon” but the fact that they will perform in the show is newly known.
2NE1 has already announced that they will appear in “GayoDaejeon” as one of the candidate awardees. As the team’s main vocal BOM will not appear in the show, people expected that the team could not be able to give a performance, but 2NE1 decided to stand on the stage with only three members, to give back to their fans’ great support durig this year. They are now working hard to prepare for their performance in “GayoDaejeon”.
BOM has not been making public appearance recently in Korea since her last appearance in entertainment show “Roommate” in July this year, for self-reflection. In summer this year, the fact that she was trying to bring in 80 pills of amphetamine, a substance similar to metamphetamine, from the United States by express courier in October 2010, was disclosed. However, considering facts that amphetamine is a legal medicine available through doctor’s prescription in the United States and BOM had been prescribed the medicine when she was living in the States, the prosecution dropped the case at that time.
Meanwhile, this year’s “GayoDaejeon” is drawing big attention, as special duet of Sung Si-Kyung and Ailee, collaboration of TAEYANG and Jeff Bernat, performances of project group Lucky Boyz whose members are CN Blue’s Jung Yong-Hwa, 2PM’s Nickun, Infinite’s L, WINNER’s SONG MIN HO, and B1A4’s Baro, as well as special performance of Seo Taiji are known to be presented on its stage. “GayoDaejeon” will be held on the 21 at 8:45, at COEX located in Samsung-dong, Seoul.
