[OSEN=선미경 기자] YG’s rookie boy group WINNER has taken the 2nd place on Oricon chart, with their Japanese debut album.

According to Japan’s biggest album-ranking website Oricon as of the morning on September 11, WINNER’s official Japanese debut album “2014 S/S-Japan Collection-“ released on the 10 has taken the 2nd place on Oricon’s daily album chart, selling total 31,114 records.

Along with the songs in Korean version of “2014 S/S”, “GO UP” and “JUST ANOTHER BOY” that were sang by WINNER in cable channel Mnet’s “WHO IS NEXT: WIN” show are included in WINNER’s Japanese debut album. All the 11 songs are in Japanese and SONG MINHO’s solo song “I’M HIM” is also included as a bonus track.

Recently, WINNER’s Korean debut album has been sweeping 10 music charts in Korea upon its release, and WINNER set a record of taking the No.1 in music show, within only five days from their debut, which is a very rare case for a rookie. Furthermore, they drew big attention overseas, too, taking the top place in five countries’ iTunes and on Chinese QQ Dien Fung chart’s popularity index ranking.

Meanwhile, starting from Tokyo concert on the 11, WINNER will hold total 11 concerts for their tour “WINNER 1st JAPAN TOUR 2014” in five cities: Sapporo on the 23, Fukuoka on the 28, Nagoya on October 1, Osaka on October 3 and 4, and Tokyo again on October 10 and 11.
