TAEYANG’s Japan Debut Album Entered 2nd Place on Oricon Chart… With Girls’ Generation in Top 10 Too
[스타뉴스 윤성열 기자] The Japan debut album of idol group BIGBANG’s member TAEYANG has entered top 10 on Oricon chart.
According to Japan’s biggest music-ranking website Oricon on the 14 this month, TAEYANG’s solo album “RISE + SOLAR & HOT” came in the 2nd place on Oricon’s daily chart, by selling 41,090 records on the day of its release.
The new album contains two complete best CDs with all songs from “RISE”, TAEYANG’s first full-length album “SOLAR”, and debut mini-album “HOT”. Newly-recorded Japanese versions of songs in “RISE” are also included in the album, too.
After his debut in Japan, TAEYANG has been having solo tour concert in Japan recently. Starting from concert at Japan Grand Cube Osaka on the 12 and 13, TAEYANG will move on to hold 13 concerts of his first solo tour “SOL JAPAN TOUR 2014” (working title), in six cities.
Meanwhile, “Skeleton” of boy group Super Junior’s Donghae & Eunhyuk entered 4th place on Oricon’s weekly single chart by selling 36,575 records from the 4 to 10, while “The Best” of Girls’ Generation which was released on the 23 last month is placed in the 5th rank by selling 15,857 records during the same period.
