2NE1’s Singapore Tour ends in success: Fans heated up
[OSEN=선미경 기자] 2NE1’s World Tour “ALL OR NOTHING” in Singapore ended in huge success.
The Singapore Indoor Stadium was filled with the local fans who gathered to see 2NE1 at their World Tour on June 28. This was the first time the quartet was in Singapore for a concert in 2 years, since their first World Tour in 2012.
2NE1 kick started the concert with “CRUSH,” leaving the audience in awe with their dynamic performance and outfits. They moved on to perform the powerful hit songs “FIRE,” “CLAP YOUR HANDS,” and “PRETTY BOY” to heat up the stadium. The audience was deeply touched by their sentimental voices of “MISSING YOU,” “IF I WERE YOU” and the unplugged version of “COME BACK HOME.”
When performing “COME BACK HOME,” the local fans turned on the light on their cellphones while for “DO YOU LOVE ME,” they all yelled out “YES” in the chorus, leaving the four divas greatly impressed.
Along with the songs in their 2nd full album, 2NE1 performed a total of 18 songs including “I AM THE BEST” and “I DON’T CARE.” The local fans welcomed the group with open arms by singing along all the songs in Korean.
2NE1 previously held a fan event before the concert, which also attracted a huge number of fans. At the event, when asked to tell the most interesting incident during World Tour, DARA and MINZY answered, “Our bellybuttons are exposed during the concert so we can’t eat a lot,” making the fans laugh.
On how to deal with people who are anti-2NE1, leader CL said, “We are used to it now and we only focus on improving for the fans. We believe we do good music and we like doing what we love.”
Meanwhile, 2NE1 will be moving to Japan’s Yokohama Arena to continue on with their World Tour on July 5 and 6.
