TAEYANG tops M Countdown 2 consecutive weeks, thanks fans & YANG
[스타뉴스 윤성열 기자] BIGBANG’s TAEYANG topped M Countdown for two weeks in a row.
On Mnet’s M Countdown aired live at CJ E&M Center in Seoul Sangam on June 19, TAEYANG ranked #1 with the title track “EYES, NOSE, LIPS” from his 2nd full solo album “RISE.”
This marks his seizing of victory 2 weeks in a row, following last week on June 12. With the trophy in his hands, he thanked the fans, parents and his boss YANG HYUN SUK for “much support.”
He was personally involved in writing the title track, which is a slow R&B song that maximizes his sentimental voice. The song is about a man yearning for a long-gone love.
Other artists like Got7, Gummy, Bob Girls, Mamamu, Lena Park, Boyfriend, Beast, VIXX, Bigflo, SanE, Raina, AOA, Empire, Jeon Hyo Song, ZE:A, J-Min, Crush, and Topp Dogg were also present at the show.
