PSY on Hanbam: “Will return with a hotter song when it gets really hot”
[OSEN=임승미 기자] PSY said that he will be back soon with a new song following “HANGOVER.”
On Hanbam TV Entertainment aired on SBS in the evening of June 11, PSY had a surprise exclusive phone interview. He started with an apology, “Please understand that my voice is like this. It’s 5 am here. I miscalculated the time difference.”
He added, “Not many know this but I started music doing hiphop. But since I focused on dancing after my debut, the genre changed and I didn’t have the opportunity to do hiphop—and I got to know Snoop Dogg when I came to the States. For hiphoppers, he is worshipped. When collaboration with him was brought up, I thought it was a great honor no matter the outcome may be.”
He continued, “Hiphop is not a ‘fun’ genre so I was simply going to make it one of the songs in the album. But I became more enthusiastic and I wanted to chronicle this song and it makes me feel great.”
About the future schedule, he commented, “I am grateful for all the attention. I am preparing for another one for summer. I will return with a hotter song when it gets really hot.”
