AKMU’s “200%” Reclaimed No.1 on Gaon’s Weekly Chart
[TV리포트=김예나 기자] “200%” of AKMU, a duo of a brother and sister (LEE CHAN HYUK & LEE SOO HYUN), has retaken the No.1 on Gaon’s Weekly Chart. “200%” is the title track of AKMU’s first full-length album “PLAY”.
On May 1, Gaon Chart disclosed its digital chart for the first week of May (Apr. 20 – Apr. 26). AKMU’s title track “200%” is placed in the top place on the chart.
AKMU’s “200%” that was released on April 7 also took the No.1 of the digital chart in the second week of April. However, in the third week in April, 15&’s “Can’t Hide It” claimed the No.1, pushing “200%” down to the second place.
One week later, AKMU’s “200%” reclaimed the No.1 again for the fourth week of April. Below “200%” there are HIGH4 & IU’s “Not Spring, Love, or Cherry Blossoms” in the second place and 15&’s “Can’t Hide It” in the third.
According to Gaon’s insiders, “there has been only few release of new songs recently, because all the music people are mourning over the ferry accident. There is no single new song in the top 10 on Gaon’s weekly chart”.
Meanwhile, “A Thousand Winds”, a memorial song dedicated by popera tenor Lim Hyungjoo to the victims of the accident, has entered Gaon’s digital weekly chart at the 33rd place.
