[OSEN=박현민 기자] AKMU, a duo of a brother and sister, is successfully maintaining its throne on real-time music charts, for 12 days in a row since the release of their debut album.

As of the morning on the 18, “200%”, the title track of AKMU’s first full-length album, is in the top place in the chart of six major music-streaming websites: Korea’s biggest music-streaming site Melon, Mnet.com, Olleh Music, Genie, Daum Music, and Monkey3. The song is also staying in the top ranks in all the other Korean music charts, proving a high popularity.

“200%” is a love song with a cheerful and rhythmical melody. Its lyrics wittily talk about not being able to say anything to a person of a secret crush, despite an all-night long preparation to confess the love. The song well shows AKMU’s unique artistic sensitivity and wit with its folk-pop melody and ear-catching rapping.

“Melted” and “Give Love”, the other title tracks of AKMU’s debut album, as well as all the other tracks in the album including “Artificial Grass”, “On the Subway”, “Little Star”, “Don’t Hate Me”, “Hair Part” and “Galaxy” have been staying in the top places on charts for 12 consecutive days since the album’s released at noon on the 7.

New-face boy group “HIGH4”’s “Not Spring, Love, or Cherry Blossoms” for which IU gave an active support including featuring and appearance in the music video, is also drawing attention from music fans by taking the 2nd to 3rd place on several music-streaming websites. It is in the No.1 place on NAVER Music.

Meanwhile, other songs including Apink’s “Mr. Chu”, Park Hyo Shin’s “Wild Flower”, Yoon Min Soo’s “Connection”, and 15&’s “Can’t Hide It” are now ranked in top places on charts.
