AKMU tops music charts for 6 days in a row
[OSEN=박현민 기자] The sibling duo AKDONG MUSICIAN (AKMU) kept their top rank on online music charts.
In the morning of April 12, AKMU’s title song “200%” from the 1st full album topped 5 major domestic real-time music charts like Melon, Mnet.com, Genie, Naver and Daum Music. Their rank stays in the top range in other charts as well.
“200%” is a rhythmical and vivacious song that talks about one being too nervous to say anything after preparing a love confession all night. The folk-pop melody and the witty rap carry AKMU’s charms and sentiments as they are.
The other title song “MELTED” is also ranking within the top ranges for 6 days in a row after its release on April 7, along with other songs that are competing to be the 3rd title song such as “GIVE LOVE,” “ARTIFICIAL GRASS,” “ON THE SUBWAY,” “LITTLE STAR,” “DON’T HATE ME,” “HAIR PART” and “GALAXY.”
HIGH4’s “Not Spring, Love, or Cherry Blossoms” is also arousing much attention in many charts by ranking #1 on Olleh Music and #2 or #3 on others. This is a new group that is actively supported by IU, as she features in the song and the music video.
Other than this, YOON MIN SOO’s “FATE,” MAD CLOWN’s “WITHOUT YOU” featuring HYORIN, PARK HYO SHIN’s “WILD FLOWER” and APINK’s “MR. CHU” are also ranked within the top range.
