BIGBANG’s DAESUNG returns to Korea with album after 4 years & tours Japan
[엑스포츠뉴스=김영진 기자] BIGBANG’s DAESUNG is to release an album in South Korea.
DAESUNG, who gained much popularity with his solo song ‘Cotton Candy’ in 2010, returns for the first time in 4 years with a new album. Along with this, he will be holding solo album and arena tours in Japan, boasting his skills as an excellent vocalist in both countries.
DAESUNG kicked off the year in a dynamic way when he was joined by 771,000 fans in Japan at BIGBANG’s 6 largest dome tour, and he will continue on with this wave of sensation when he comes back as a vocalist in Korea and tours in Japan.
From June to July, DAESUNG is to hold arena tour in Japan. Starting from Yokohama Arena on June 11th, he will tour around Kobe World Memorial Hall, Marinemesse Fukuoka, Xebio Arena Sendai, Hokkaido’s multi-sports complex Hokkaikitaeru, Nihon Gaishi Hall and on to Nihon Budokan on July 17th. In 7 cities he will hold 12 concerts. In just this arena tour he is expected to attract 125,000 fans, which will be far bigger than his last solo Japan tour.
DAESUNG released his solo album ‘D’scover’ early last year in Japan, and his song ranked #2 on Oricon Weekly Chart, which is the highest rank for a Korean solo artist. His solo tour ‘D-LITE D’scover Tour 2013 in Japan,’ a total of 26 concerts, also ended in success in 20 cities with 100,000 fans.
His first solo single in Japan ‘I Love You’ was a huge hit as well, a song produced by Kameda Seiji, a member of Japan’s famous band Tokyo Jihen. It attracted more attention as Japan’s top violinist Hakase Taro also collaborated.
DAESUNG, who has successfully impressed many fans in Korea and Japan, returns to Korea and Japan with a new album along with the Japanese arena tour this time. All eyes are on him to see how great his songs will be this time.
