GD stands shoulder-to-shoulder with Samsung’s Lee Kun-hee on 100 most influential figures 2013
[서울신문 = 이보희 기자] BIGBANG’s G-DRAGON, aged 25, was selected as one of the top 100 most influential people in 2013.
The world-renowned web magazine HYPEBEAST selected GD as one of the 100 most influential figures of 2013. The only other South Korean on the list was Samsung’s chairman Lee Kun-hee.
HYPEBEAST, introducing GD as the South Korean recording artist, wrote he is not as well-known as PSY globally, but is the absolute leader in fashion. The magazine extolled the artist for working together with world-famous producers like Diplo, Bauer, and Boys Noize for his 2nd solo album ‘Coup d’etat’ released in 2013.
GD commented, “I am grateful and deeply honored.”
