FUSE TV spotlights YG Entertainment + newbie WINNER
[OSEN=김경주 기자] America’s FUSE TV is attracting much attention as it spotlights YG Entertainment.
America’s music cable FUSE TV has been introducing artists from YG Entertainment one by one since Jan 13 (local time) under the theme ‘FUSE LOVES SEOUL:From K-pop to Hiphop,’ a special program in celebration of the new year. The special program kicked off with 2NE1, and in the following one on Jan 14, YG Entertainment itself was the focus, in which the famous headquarters building and the cafeteria were introduced.
FUSE TV’s reporter said, “With artists like PSY, BIGBANG, 2NE1 and EPIK HIGH, YG Entertainment is one of the largest K-Pop exporters around the world,” with YG’s headquarters in the background, and added, “YG is a one-stop shop for aspiring and established talents.”
About the famous YG cafeteria, YG’s personnel commented, “Recently we had Justin Bieber down here, and Will Smith as well, and we had meals served for all the staff and guests.”
Yang Hyun Suk, the founder of the agency was also introduced. YG’s producer CHOICE 37 commented, “He is very involved in the creative process,” and CL said, “He loves hip-hop and he loves the artists. He appreciates hip-hop.”
FUSE TV also showed interest in YG’s yet-unofficial newbie group, WINNER. FUSE TV explained how they seized victory in the battle program, along with an interview with the group.
FUSE TV, after 2NE1 and YG Entertainment, will be introducing T.O.P and BIGBANG on Jan 15, EPIK HIGH on Jan 21, and LEE HI on Jan 22.
