BOM and MINZY become winners on Running Man – MINZY stands out as a “champion girl”
[TV리포트=문지연 기자] MINZY of 2NE1 has brought victory to her team, showing off her remarkable talent.
In the episode of the SBS’s TV show “Good Sunday – Running Man (simply known as Running Man)” broadcasted on 28th, 2NE1 participated in the race, dressed up as aliens.
The goal of the race was for 2NE1 and other Running Man members to return to their home in outer space by securing 21 liters of water. For the last mission, in particular, 2NE1 and others had to run around in order to find hidden water containers.
MINZY was in the pink team along with Yoo Jae-suk and Lee Kwang-soo, and she outshone all others. She ran around showing her power and wit, worthy of her new nickname “champion girl.” After finding water containers, in particular, MINZY rushed back to fill up the tank at astonishing speed.
The pink team was united with an incredible team spirit and fully engaged in the race, finding water containers and filling the tank. The green team’s Kim Jong-kook played well enough to compete head-to-head with the pink team but not enough to outcompete. Ultimately, it was the pink team (MINZY, BOM, Yoo Jae-suk and Lee Kwang-soo) that clinched victory.
Right after receiving the winning prize made of four gold ornaments. Yoo Jae-suk suggested that “Giving them to 2NE1 members would be great.” Lee Kwang-soo grumbled that Yoo did not ask him about what to do with the prize first, saying “I don’t have a say here.” In the end, however, Lee gladly gave the prize to 2NE1 to bring the episode to a nice and warm ending.
