KANG SEUNG YOON’S NEW SONG TOPS THE MUSIC CHART, KANG SENDS VIDEO MESSAGE TO FANS
[Dispatch=최인경기자] KANG SEUNG YOON sent a video message to fans.
On the 18th morning, KANG SEUNG YOON posted a video message on the official YG Entertainment blog site, saying, “I didn’t expect much because the song was an unexpected release, but I’m overwhelmed with the great attention and love from my fans,” adding, “thank you, my dear fans, I truly appreciate your support.”
KANG also said thanks to his agency, YG Entertainment, and fellow YG singers. In the video, KANG sent a special thanks message to the main producer, Yang Hyun Suk, saying, “I can’t thank you enough for believing in me for the past three years and also for your support and guidance. I will not let you down by continuing to work hard to become a great artist.” KANG also thanked the “Park sisters (DARA and BOM),” who are YG Entertainment singers and in charge of the PR for KANG’s new album. Previously, DARA and BOM showed an active support for KANG, holding banners with encouraging words. “I really appreciate the Park sisters’ work and support in promoting my new album,” KANG said.
On the other hand, he expressed regrets for sending words of appreciation through a video message rather than on stage. KANG said, “I would love to say thanks to my fans face-to-face, but it’s been really hectic lately, so I hope my fans would understand.”
Before wrapping up his message, KANG requested continuous love and support from his fans. “Please show great support for my new song called “WILD AND YOUNG,” which will be released at the end of July, and also for my other songs from the album,” adding, “I know I still have a long way to go as a singer, but I will always give my all so that I won’t disappoint my fans.”
KANG even sang the chorus part of his song, “IT RAINS,” live. The chorus is composed with both KANG’s natural voice and falsetto, but he performed it smoothly. KANG’s voice has matured much more than when he appeared on Mnet’s “Superstar K” auditioning program in 2010. KANG plans to participate in YG Entertainment’s real survival audition program, “WIN,” which new male group singers will be selected.
