YG PLUS to Hold Grand Opening of ‘the SamE’ with Enhanced Listening Zones and More on March 28
[이데일리= 윤기백 기자] The project space “the SameE,” which connects fans and artists, is set to relaunch its Hapjeong branch.

Located near the main entrance of YG Entertainment’s headquarters in Hapjeong, Seoul, the “the SameE” Hapjeong branch will complete its renovation and hold a grand opening on March 28. This renewal goes beyond a simple merchandise store, transforming it into an immersive project space where visitors can engage with artists’ music and content in a more multidimensional way.
Through this renewal, experiential elements such as the listening zone and unboxing zone have been enhanced, and the overall space has been reorganized around an artist-centric structure. In particular, the newly introduced artist-specific zoning system dedicates spaces that reflect each artist’s concept and identity. Visitors can engage more deeply with their favorite artists’ content and merchandise, as the space has been redesigned around experience, encouraging a more natural exploration of the different zones.
Additionally, the store will operate a photo booth featuring exclusive frames of YG artists. With store-exclusive frames reflecting each artist’s concept, fans can capture and keep memories of their visit, further enhancing the unique in-person experience of the offline space.
To celebrate the reopening, a variety of promotions will be held. All visitors will receive one random sticker from a set of six YG artist logo stickers. Customers who spend over 50,000 KRW (Limit one per customer) will also receive a “YG ARCHIVE PASSPORT.” This passport is designed for fans to collect stamps at “the SameE” stores in Hapjeong, Myeongdong, and Insadong. Furthermore, there are plans to expand the stamp tour to include domestic concert venues and global pop-up stores in the future, developing it into a long-term, offline-focused promotion platform.
On the day of the grand opening, the “Find the Nth Customer” event will also take place. On March 28, the Nth visitor and purchasing customer will receive signed merchandise. The giveaway includes group and individual signed items from BABYMONSTER, TREASURE, and YOON, and the event is expected to draw strong interest from fans.
Through this renewal, YG PLUS plans to continue expanding “the SameE” beyond a simple merchandise store into an offline platform that connects artists and fans through experiences and content. Moving forward, the Hapjeong branch will operate as a space where fans can deepen their connection with artists through programs linked to artist activities, seasonal highlights, and various content projects.
